Position Overview
Are you interested in becoming part of a prominent accountancy firm and joining a supportive team that fosters collaboration within a Private Client Tax setting? Our office is conveniently located within a vibrant market town.
As a member of our team, you will manage a diverse portfolio, navigating complex challenges. Our specialization in Landed Estates and rural enterprises allows us to serve numerous titled families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a portfolio of personal clients with intricate tax matters, including high-net-worth individuals, focusing on Landed Estates, agricultural clients, entrepreneurs, partnerships, and trusts.
- Collaborate with Partners and Directors on tax planning initiatives, including succession planning through trusts and corporate structures, while addressing capital gains and inheritance tax issues.
- Coordinate with other service lines to provide comprehensive solutions to clients, such as Accounts and Corporate Tax services.
- Supervise compliance and essential advisory tasks performed by junior staff members.
- Foster strong client relationships and assist senior team members in identifying new business opportunities.
- Mentor junior team members, providing timely feedback and supporting their technical and personal development.
Qualifications:
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience within a professional services firm, with a solid understanding of various private client tax matters.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge and the ability to convey complex information effectively to clients, along with the skill to ask pertinent questions.
- Experience in tax planning and advisory projects, as well as managing intricate compliance challenges.
- Proven people management and organizational skills.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser - ACA / CTA.
