Job Title: Diagnostic Radiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diagnostic Radiographer to join our team at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. As a Diagnostic Radiographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients across a range of clinical environments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent radiographic imaging, technique, and patient positioning to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Use Electronic Patient Records (EPR) and the Radiology Information System (RIS) for patient registration, ordering, and scheduling.
  • Utilize the Picture Archive & Communication System (PACS) to ensure optimum image quality.
  • Participate in the Quality Assurance equipment testing program.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide 24/7 services, including weekend and evening working.
Requirements:
  • State Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council.
  • BSc Degree in Radiography or equivalent radiographic qualification, DCR(R).
  • Evidence of current Continuing Professional Development activity.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
  • Post Graduate Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent postgraduate experience.
  • Clinical experience across a range of radiographic equipment and techniques.
  • Experience of junior staff/student supervision and/or training.
  • Line management or other leadership duties.
  • Previous NHS or UK clinical radiography experience.
