We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a diverse secondary school in Camden. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who have challenging behaviours or social and emotional needs.

About the Role

The Behaviour Mentor will provide support and guidance to students in a small group setting, using evidence-based interventions to help them achieve their goals. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized plans for each student.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with challenging behaviours
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support student progress
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure consistent support
  • Use evidence-based interventions to promote positive behaviour change
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with students with challenging behaviours
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for behaviour change
