Job Summary

Clinical Lead Nurse - Endoscopy Bournemouth | Theatre | Permanent | Full time, Includes weekend work Up to £45,000 depending on experience hours per week

Main Responsibilities

As a Clinical Lead Nurse in our Endoscopy Unit, you will be responsible for supporting the Theatre Manager in the efficient running of the department. Your key duties will include:

  • Coordinating activity and ensuring patient care and safety
  • Being instrumental to the patient experience, ensuring seamless, personalised care
  • Working well with consultants who are experts in their field
  • Applying your knowledge and skills in assessment, care planning and delivery
  • Championing a supportive, enabling working culture on the ward, promoting staff safety

Person Specification

We are looking for a Clinical Lead Nurse with:

  • Registration with the appropriate governing body and relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC
  • Post-registration experience in care of patients, within Endoscopy
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to work well with consultants
