We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect to partner with startups and scale-ups across various industries and stages of their lifecycle. As a Senior Solution Architect, you will own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects, and develop a deep expertise in AWS technologies.
Your experience will include working in, or leading software engineering teams at fast-moving and growing companies within the tech and startup industry. Your customer-facing skills will allow you to represent Amazon well within a customer's environment or the broader startup community; as well as a technical background that enables you to easily interact with and give guidance to software developers and architects.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with a diverse range of startups to adopt the right architecture at each stage in their lifecycle and drive the architecture of scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
- Scope each customer engagement with attention towards clear and well-defined goals and success criteria.
- Drive adoption of a broad range of AWS services to deliver business value and accelerate growth.
- Partner with engineering teams to support the evolution and roadmap of the AWS platform and services through customer feedback.
- Build and nurture technical relationships within the startup ecosystem, including accelerators, incubators, and VCs.
- Develop startup-specific technical content, such as blog posts, sample code, and solutions, to assist customers solve technical problems and reduce time-to-market.
- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients.
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries, preferably including startups / digital natives.
