Regulatory Solicitor

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Regulatory Solicitor to join our expanding regulatory department in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling a broad range of matters, including traditional HSE cases, motor crime, healthcare regulatory, and environmental cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze prosecution evidence, considering implications for clients.
- Review client evidence and provide summaries for experienced solicitors, including Partners.
- Liaise with the Court, Coroner's Office, CQC, Police, and Health and Safety Executive, as well as other relevant regulators.
- Instruct experts where necessary and summarize expert evidence.
- Liaise with Insured parties regarding prosecution cases and disclosure requirements.
- Organize and attend conferences and meetings, drafting notes of discussion and following agreed strategies.
- Attend interviews under caution.
- Instruct counsel and attend trials and inquests.
- Review medical records, post-mortem reports, and other relevant evidence, including CCTV footage.
- Conduct investigative research into insured parties, analyzing corporate structures, procedures, risk assessment processes, and other relevant information.
- Perform general legal research.
