Job Summary

Meritus is seeking a skilled Semi-Skilled Fitter to work on exciting aerospace programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of aerospace components.
  • Carry out routine inspections and quality checks on assembled parts to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Report any issues or defects identified during the fitting process to supervisors or quality control.
  • Utilize basic mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools and power tools.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably in the aerospace industry.
  • Develop new skills through on-the-job training.
Work Arrangements

This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension, working a 4-day week with 37 hours per week. Overtime premium rate applies.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
