Job Title: Compliance & Facilities Officer

Vickerstock is partnering with a leading logistics firm to find a skilled QHSE Compliance Officer.

About the Role

As a key member of the QHSE team, you will report directly to the Health and Safety Manager and be responsible for ensuring the organization's compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Your duties will include conducting internal audits and site inspections, performing regular compliance checks, and updating records accordingly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct internal audits and site inspections to ensure compliance with QHSE standards
  • Perform regular compliance checks and update records
  • Collect, review, and assess documentation from sub-contractors
  • Coordinate and deliver employee QHSE induction programs
  • Gather and evaluate documentation from contractors, conduct inductions, and maintain records
  • Support QHSE and Product Safety awareness initiatives for staff
  • Participate in accident investigations and reporting, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
  • Compile data and complete QHSE administrative tasks
  • Assist in reviewing and updating QHSE policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Collaborate with line managers to enhance their safety responsibilities
  • Drive initiatives to improve the ISO Management Systems
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • NEBOSH Certification
  • ISO Internal Auditor or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
  • Knowledge of relevant QHSE regulations and standards
  • Attention to detail and communication skills
Desirable
  • Member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health)
  • Understanding of BRC Global Standards
  • Experience in QHSE management systems and procedures
  • Experience in ISO 28000
