Senior Mechanical Engineer - Extrusion Tooling Optimization
Aliaxis is committed to delivering innovative fluid management solutions across diverse sectors. We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to oversee the efficiency and functionality of extrusion tooling.
- Accurately assess and document tool configurations for uniform setups
- Educate Production and Engineering Teams on tooling maintenance
- Conduct repairs and enhancements on extrusion tooling
- Notify management of equipment malfunctions
- Assist in the development of new project tooling
- Maintain comprehensive records of die history and tooling metrics
- Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives
- Foster effective communication with both internal and external partners
Work Schedule and Compensation:
Monday-Thursday 8am - 4:30pm and Friday 8am - 3:30pm
£43,000 annually
Quarterly attendance bonus: £300 (conditional on perfect attendance)
Qualifications:
- Strong dedication to safety protocols
- Proven history of achieving production goals and enhancing processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting
- Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in toolmaking
- Competence in interpreting tooling schematics and operating machine tools
