Electrical Maintenance and Installation Engineer - Manufacturing/Engineering

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team at Bridges Recruitment Limited. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical maintenance and installation in a manufacturing environment.

The role will involve working alongside the Senior Electrical Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems and equipment. This will include:

  • Designing and building electrical control panels
  • Installing cable management systems, cable tray, and conduit
  • Carrying out electrical builds, repairs, fault diagnosis, commissioning, and installations
  • Reading electrical drawings and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical wiring
  • Testing electrical control systems and components to ensure they are correctly configured
  • Fault finding electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using various diagnostic tools
  • Testing and documenting electrical aspects of hydraulic/pneumatic systems & compressors

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, regulations, and procedures. They will also have experience with PLC control systems and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
