About the Role

Ada Meher is partnering with a leading SaaS company in the Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging space to find a seasoned.NET Developer to provide technical expertise and help scale their product.

Job Overview

This innovative startup is at the forefront of powering hardware to cater to the evolving needs of EV drivers using cutting-edge software to provide data insights.

You will need to be an experienced ASP.NET Developer with a proven track record of managing and providing technical leadership to a team of 5.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead.NET Development
  • Technical Leadership in SaaS (EV Charging)
  • £65,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Hybrid Remote in Manchester (twice a month in the office)

The company has recently received significant funding (Series A) and is looking to continue the impressive growth of its technical team.

They have developed a flexible charge point management system and are already working with some of the biggest brands in the industry.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced ASP.NET Developer who enjoys working in Startups to join a scaling business.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Lead from the front in C#/ASP.NET development
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to the C# development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and design patterns
  • Implement and manage DevOps practices, streamlining development, deployment, and operations
Technical Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in C# and.NET framework
  • Demonstrable experience in Azure, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps
  • Experience with API design and development
  • Experience with Design Patterns and DevOps Practices: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, trunk-based development, automation, and infrastructure as code
  • Leadership skills
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Track record of mentoring and managing engineering teams
  • Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
  • Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure automation
  • Understanding of event-driven design principles
  • Previous experience working in a startup or scaleup, preferably within the EV or similar high-growth area is highly beneficial
