IT Project Engineer Opportunity

The Work Shop is seeking an experienced IT Project Engineer to join their team in Ringwood. As an IT Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic and reactive single day projects, configuring and installing network hardware, configuring new users, delivering MS365 solutions, and overseeing data migrations.

This role requires a high level of technical expertise, with experience in a broad range of technologies, including cloud and on-premise solutions, core services like cabling, networking, VLANs, MS365, ERP, and rapid deployment and agile approaches. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, with a desire to gain exposure to the latest business-enabling technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver single day projects and provide support on escalated tickets from the support desk.
  • Manage your schedule day to day to ensure project deadlines are met while continuing to assist with service requests and act as a point of escalation for the support desk.
  • Manage the life cycle of a project to ensure that the customer receives an excellent experience.
  • Attend sites as required to address customer needs and agreed service levels.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a broad range of technologies, including cloud and on-premise solutions.
  • Strong technical expertise in core services like cabling, networking, VLANs, MS365, ERP.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
