About the Role

MDE Group UK is seeking a highly skilled NPI Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the Design & Projects Team, you will be responsible for supporting new project launches, maintaining communication with customers and suppliers, and managing project data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Design & Projects Team with new project launches.
  • Maintain communication with customers and suppliers.
  • Manage and control project data.
  • Create and distribute weekly timing plans.
  • Organise and attend mould trials, reporting any issues.
  • Perform part measurements using CMM and other metrology equipment.
  • Submit ISIR, PSW, PPAP, and FAIR documentation.
  • Develop work instructions and visual aids for production teams.
  • Oversee the handover of new projects from technical to manufacturing teams.

Requirements

  • Proficient in CAD systems (design skills are a plus).
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Knowledge of injection mould tooling, processing, and materials.
  • Familiarity with secondary operations such as ultrasonic welding, painting, printing, and manual assembly.
  • Experience working with ISO9001 quality standards and systems.
