Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Culinary Supervisor to become a vital part of our team within a bustling healthcare dining facility.

Located within a community health setting, your role will involve delivering a variety of meal options daily while ensuring that the kitchen and surrounding areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards. You will oversee food preparation, manage deliveries, and support the team in fulfilling the catering service's requirements, enhancing the care experience provided by our healthcare professionals.

This position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your leadership abilities, as you will be responsible for guiding our enthusiastic and committed team during shifts and managing supplier orders. Proficiency in handling financial transactions is essential, as you will oversee cash management at the conclusion of each shift.

This is a part-time role (30 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities

As a Culinary Supervisor, your primary duties will include:

  • Offering a selection of three meal options and two dessert choices each day
  • Coordinating orders and managing food deliveries
  • Leading the staff on duty
  • Ensuring cleanliness in accordance with departmental standards and adhering to a HACCP plan for food handling and service.
  • Demonstrating flexibility in working hours to adapt to service needs
