Job Summary
Streets Corner Surgery is a well-established and friendly GP practice seeking a dedicated and compassionate GP to join our supportive team. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our diverse patient population of approximately 5,700.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations.
- Manage a range of acute and chronic conditions, ensuring effective treatment and patient outcomes.
- Participate in practice meetings and contribute to the development of the surgery, driving continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
- Engage in continuous professional development and appraisal activities, staying up-to-date with best practices and clinical guidelines.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salaried GP to work 6 sessions per week, providing a full range of primary care services to our patient population. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of experienced GPs, nurses, and administrative staff in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver highly effective medical care to the entitled population, adhering to local and national guidance.
- Provide services commensurate with the GMS contract, ensuring compliance and quality standards.
- Manage long-term conditions effectively, providing preventative health care and advice within the context of primary health care.
- Process administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests, EPS, and other associated tasks.
- Undertake on-call/duty doctor roles and appointments in extended contracted hours, maintaining accurate clinical records.
- Work collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload and contributing to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
