Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Bay View Childcare. As a key member of our Residential Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe, secure, and homely environment for young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of individual care plans, ensuring that the needs of each young person are met.
  • Participate in activities and outings with young people, promoting their social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that the highest standards of care are maintained.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People.
  • Be over 21 years of age and hold a full UK driving license.
  • Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
