Senior Software Engineer (VP) - Java or Kotlin, Fixed Income, E-Trading, Cloud, Kafka, DataBricks, Cross-Asset

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (VP) to join our client, a leading investment bank based in London. This role sits within their front office team, where you will be working on electronic trading systems, utilizing Java or Kotlin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop front-to-back trading applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with front-office teams to grasp and execute trading strategies and solutions effectively.
  • Drive enhancements in system architecture and design to ensure seamless integration and deployment of trading solutions.
  • Engage in the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with diverse stakeholders, including traders and fellow developers.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in front office eTrading technologies and methodologies.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary of up to £130k, plus a performance-related bonus and benefits. You will be required to work in the office in London 4 days per week.
