Job Title: Energy Asset Management Director
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Energy Asset Management Director to join our team at TotalEnergies. As a key member of our Energy Management team, you will be responsible for providing market-leading energy sourcing and risk management services for our UK customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage two Energy Management analysts and oversee the service offering wholesale market access to the UK flexible customer base ('lock-in process')
- Oversee the production and timely distribution of industry-leading energy market reports, offering daily market quotations and market insights to UK customers
- Ensure accurate market commentary on the phone, via market reports, on webinars and in meetings
- Commercial experience in an energy trading role with exposure to live commodity markets
- Proficient in the use of Reuters and energy monitoring tools as well as having a good concept of Python
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the European wholesale energy markets and ability to analyze market trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the company at industry events
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
