We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 SEND Tutor to join our team at Ackerman Pierce Ltd. As a 1:1 SEND Tutor, you will work closely with students who require additional support due to special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver tailored education to students with SEND, focusing on their individual needs and goals.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans, using a range of teaching styles and methodologies.
- Provide emotional and physical support to foster individual development and well-being.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to parents and other professionals.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure a supportive and enriching environment for all students.
- Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Background in teaching core subjects (English, Maths, Science) or SEND classes (KS1-KS4).
- Experience working with students with SEND, including autism, ADHD, and other complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Adaptable, patient, and caring approach, with a willingness to work in a range of indoor and outdoor classroom activities.
