About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a talented Civil Engineer to work on a variety of projects, including drainage and highway design. The successful candidate will have experience with Civils 3D and drainage networks, as well as sustainable drainage systems concept and detailed design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Producing schematic/concept designs and detailed design of drainage and highways using Civils 3D
  • Undertaking drainage and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS) designs using Causeway Flow
  • Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports for planning
  • Collaborating with other construction professionals in design development and project management as necessary
  • Project leader and manager of project finances
Requirements
  • Good Civils 3D or equivalent with drainage networks experience
  • Experience of sustainable drainage systems concept and detailed design – essential
  • Highways design – S278/S38 agreements – desirable
  • Line management experience to support team members in their career development
  • Interest in working in a variety of sectors supporting NHS, Department for Education and private sector
