Exciting Opportunity for a Cover Supervisor in South Birmingham

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at a good Ofsted secondary school in the South Birmingham area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and ensuring the smooth running of the school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
  • Encourage pupils' engagement and participation in lessons
  • Act as a positive role model and promote good behavior
  • Ensure all students develop the skills and understanding needed to be successful at school and in future careers
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with 11-16 year olds
  • Interest in sports and ideally experience mentoring or coaching under 16 year olds
  • Positive attitude and desire to work in education
  • Passionate and hard-working individual with the capacity to work with a variety of ability students
  • Good communication skills
  • Valid DBS check or willingness to process one with ourselves
  • Ability to commit to working school hours
