About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Home Care Direct. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including the use of hoists and other equipment
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients

Requirements:

  • Must be a driver with a full UK driving license
  • Must be able to commit to long-term care for one client in a person-centered way
  • Must be willing to be trained to CQC standards to meet the client's needs
  • Must be reliable, non-judgmental, caring, responsible, and compassionate
  • Must be committed to confidentiality and treating clients with dignity and respect
