We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead our technology function as a Head of IT. This is a rare opportunity to join a prestigious market leader in the FMCG industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a clear and robust IT strategy, taking into consideration cost efficiency, legislation, and security.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives
• Project management, including resourcing, financial reporting, scheduling, and implementation
• Ensure system stability and performance
• System continuity and disaster recovery
• Software and data management
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
• Budgetary control and financial management
• Team management, including appraisals and development

Requirements:

• 3 years' experience in leading an IT function
• 5 years' experience in a MS server environment
• 3 years' experience in data management and report requirements and building
• Able to operate effectively in a high-volume FMCG operation
• Possess a good understanding of the latest training, learning, and development techniques
• Able to work diplomatically and confidentially
• Demonstrable experience of instigating, managing, and delivering programs or projects both inside the IT department and throughout operations

Qualifications:

• Trained in systems analysis, systems design, project leadership, and planning and control skills
• Excellent working knowledge of Windows Server and SQL
