As a Senior Process Engineer - Hydrogen, you will be responsible for leading process engineering evaluations for various hydrogen technologies, including electrolyzers, fuel cells, and steam methane reformers. You will also lead process engineering activities for hydrogen compression, storage evaluation, and transfer. Additionally, you will oversee the implementation of solutions through the project life cycle, from feasibility to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead process engineering evaluations for various hydrogen technologies, including electrolyzers, fuel cells, and steam methane reformers.
  2. Lead process engineering activities for hydrogen compression, storage evaluation, and transfer.
  3. Oversee the implementation of solutions through the project life cycle, from feasibility to commissioning.
  4. Serve as a technical specialist and provide consultation and guidance to project teams in a particular practice area.
  5. Communicate client interests and drivers to project team members and develop approaches to accommodate these concerns in the performance of the work.
  6. Supervise the work of others and oversee performance management, career planning, recognition, learning and development, and corrective actions.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Process/Chemical or related engineering subject.
  2. Significant related work experience.
  3. Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle records searches.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience in hydrogen facility design or hydrogen production operations.
  2. Knowledge of process simulation packages, such as PRO II, Promax, Protreat, and HYSYS.
  3. Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards.
  4. Knowledge of hydrogen-specific standards in the industry.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary plan and a job grade of 132. This role can be based in our Glasgow or London, United Kingdom office with some travel throughout the EMEA region to our international offices, client sites, and conferences. We work a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
