As a Gas / Plumber Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional maintenance services for commercial gas, heating, and building systems across various client locations.

Role Overview

Your responsibilities will encompass troubleshooting, repairs, servicing, and installation of both commercial and residential gas systems, along with HVAC systems.

Your primary objective will be to deliver a superior maintenance service, ensuring the safety and efficiency of all systems under your supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial combustion, heating, and HVAC preventive maintenance, addressing proactive and reactive tasks promptly to exceed customer expectations.
  • Oversee additional building services maintenance, including plumbing, mechanical, and related tasks.
  • Provide on-call support for clients as per the established callout schedule.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas.
  • Conduct new installations and perform both major and minor repairs on clients' gas and heating systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in systems and equipment, including basic electrical troubleshooting.
  • Supervise contractor activities on behalf of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and quality of workmanship.
  • Verify that all gas and heating equipment operates within specified performance criteria.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience in completing preventive maintenance and minor replacements.
  • Willingness to engage in general building maintenance tasks.
  • Possession of Commercial Gas Tickets.
  • Possession of Domestic Gas Tickets.
  • NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Plumbing.
