We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Kitchen Porter at Newcastle College's Rye Hill campus.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the chef instructor in the bistro kitchen, ensuring the pot wash area is kept clean and organized at all times. They will also work closely with staff and students to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the day.
Key responsibilities include following daily cleaning schedules, adhering to guidance from the head chef, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date paperwork. A good background in hospitality and catering is essential, with a proven track record in the relevant area. A Level 2 in food safety and a good understanding of COSHH are also required.
