Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Heat Interface Unit Engineer to join our team at Workflow Recruitment. As a HIU Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and servicing of Heat Interface Units in both occupied and void properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Assessment and Safety: Conduct thorough risk assessments of work environments to ensure a safe working process, adhering to Health & Safety regulations and The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations (GSIUR) 1998.
  • Material Identification and Recording: Identify and procure necessary materials and parts for HIU repairs, accurately recording work logs and materials used on the company's PDA/I.T system.
  • Communication and Coordination: Liaise with stores and admin teams to arrange necessary materials and inform residents of work schedules and completion times.
  • Van Stock Management: Manage and control allocated van stock, ensuring levels are maintained as necessary.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position based in London, covering around 100,000 properties. As a HIU Engineer, you will be part of a team that provides essential services to residents, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Heat Interface Units.
