Senior Environmental Consultant

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Senior Environmental Consultant to become part of our client's expanding team. This role presents a unique opportunity to oversee intricate environmental initiatives from start to finish. You will be tasked with ensuring the delivery of exceptional project management, which includes on-site work, data collection, risk evaluations, and comprehensive reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee environmental project claims, emphasizing budget management, invoicing, and adherence to timelines as per client agreements.
  • Execute detailed field investigations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication with clients, regulatory bodies, and property owners on both technical and business aspects.
  • Develop technically robust and commercially viable proposals, project scopes, and reports.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering the overall development and success of the group.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a comparable position, with proficiency in Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
  • Solid foundation in conducting Preliminary Risk Assessments, both desktop and field-based.
  • Degree in a relevant engineering or natural science discipline (e.g., Geology, Environmental Science, Physical Geography).
  • Valid UK driving license and readiness to travel across the UK and Ireland.
  • Commercial insight and a problem-solving mindset in project management.
