About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at The Recruitment Fix Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering support for the manufacturing facility, including reading and understanding engineering drawings with a keen eye for detail.
  • Transfer data from drawings into Bills of Materials (BOMs) on the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (Syteline/SAP).
  • Oversee the analysis, planning, and management of all manufacturing orders, workloads, BOMs, and related documentation/databases.
  • Prepare and update new and existing manufacturing process documentation (Standard Operating Procedures, SOPs) and associated tooling required for product manufacture.
  • Deliver training to colleagues in manufacturing planning procedures and the Syteline system.
  • Coordinate planning, material, and system updates/changes in response to design changes, modifications, or deviations, ensuring adherence to Good Quality Control Practices (GQCP) and other system/process control procedures.
  • Oversee procedures and conformance by production staff in job time/progress booking and adherence to job-track/ERP processes.
  • Ensure production schedules are assessed in advance and all materials requirements are created and actioned to fulfill in-house manufacturing, outsource, free-issue, and subcontract demands.
Requirements
  • Proven skills, knowledge, and experience in understanding engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: vacuum forming, machine shop, injection molding, or final assembly.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good IT skills.
