Job Summary:

Harbourne Associates is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple contracts, handling take-offs, building up rates, and contributing to the securing of new work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate estimating activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of estimates.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with senior managers and directors to drive business growth and development.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans to achieve company goals.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on estimating and contract management best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator within the civil engineering/groundworks sector.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, and subcontract arrangements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in contributing to the growth of the business.
  • A valid, full UK Driving Licence is essential.
