Quantitative Analyst - Macro Research

At Qenexus, we are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our team of experts in macroeconomic research and analysis. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quantitative models to analyze macroeconomic indicators, interest rates, currencies, and asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex quantitative models to analyze macroeconomic data and identify trends and patterns.
  • Collect, clean, and manage large datasets from diverse sources to ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Perform backtesting and simulations to evaluate strategy performance and risk.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into investment decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with market developments and advancements in quantitative research and analysis.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in quantitative research or analysis in systematic macro or related fields.
  • Proficient in Python or C++, with strong skills in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization.
  • Strong understanding of macroeconomics, global markets, and financial instruments (interest rates, currencies, commodities).
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
