Domestic Cleaning Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaning Assistant to join our team at Medirest. As a Domestic Cleaning Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, and public areas to the highest standards.
  • Ensure all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors by following required policies and procedures.
  • Use equipment in accordance with the role, following all Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Work under pressure, individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
Requirements:
  • Passionate about patient care and able to work in a hospital environment.
  • Confident in using equipment and following Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Able to work under pressure and as part of a team.
