Quality Control Microbiologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Microbiologist to join our team at Hyper Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a Quality Control Microbiologist, you will be responsible for the management of the microbiological laboratory, ensuring testing is performed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organise and manage the microbiological laboratory, ensuring compliance with cGMP and HSE regulations.
  • Develop and implement robust working practices within the laboratory environment.
  • Write protocols and reports for microbiological testing, and participate in quality-based investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Perform quality-based investigations, OOS and OOT investigations, and maintain laboratory equipment and stock in accordance with SOPs and H&S policies.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in a life sciences course, preferably Microbiology, Chemistry, or Pharmacy related degrees.
  • Proven industry experience in working in a pharmaceutical company, a GMP regulated environment, or experience working in a similar lab-based Quality Control role.
  • A working knowledge and practical experience with working in a laboratory environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, i.e Health and Safety, GMP, SOPs, and MHRA guidelines.
