Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Operator to join our dynamic team at ARC (Norwich) Limited. This role is essential for our operations, focusing on the transportation of goods across the UK using left-hand drive vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Transporting curtainsider trailers from designated ports to various clients.
  • Reloading at client locations as necessary.
  • Managing an average of 1-2 trailers per day.
Work Schedule

This is a permanent position with consistent work throughout the year. The typical work schedule includes:

  • Monday to Friday shifts, with occasional overnight stays (additional compensation provided for nights spent away from home).
  • Optional weekend work for those interested.
Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 6 months of commercial HGV driving experience within the UK.
  • Experience operating left-hand drive vehicles.
  • Possession of a valid Driving Licence with C+E category, CPC Qualification Card, and Tachograph Card.
  • A professional demeanor and a positive attitude towards clients.
  • Basic proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
