Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Glebe Farm Foods. As a key member of our Engineering and Maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Ensure that site PM and legal checks are completed in the agreed timescales, maintaining a high level of compliance and adherence to regulations.
- Propose and implement site production improvements, driving efficiency and productivity gains.
- Collaborate with the Engineering and Maintenance Manager to develop and implement maintenance strategies that align with business objectives.
- Identify and troubleshoot faults, particularly in PLC control and instrumentation systems.
- Demonstrate expertise in Boiler room BOAS Certification and HVAC/chiller systems.
Requirements:
- Relevant mechanical/electrical qualification or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of production processes and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
