Job Title: Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Mechanic to join our team at Octane Recruitment. As a leading Recruitment agency specialising in Automotive, Motor trade, Engineering, OEM and various related industries, we are looking for a talented individual to work with our clients across the UK.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for attending breakdowns, diagnosing issues, and working on vehicles to get them back on the road or ensuring they are safely transported to a workshop. This role involves vehicle servicing and general maintenance, including electrical and vehicle diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend breakdowns and diagnose issues to identify the root cause of the problem
  • Work on vehicles to get them back on the road or safely transport them to a workshop
  • Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance, including electrical and vehicle diagnostics
  • Work closely with the breakdown team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Requirements:
  • A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
  • A customer-focused approach
  • A full UK driving licence
