Job Title: Facilities Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Assistant to join our team at Lairg Health Centre in Sutherland. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service in accordance with local infection control policies and NHS Scotland's National Cleaning Services Specification.

The role involves ensuring that cleaning schedules are met and promoting a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. The successful candidate will also be required to provide domestic services to other sites as needed.

This is a part-time permanent position of 9.9 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 1800-2000 hours. However, hours may vary due to service requirements. We offer a comprehensive induction and training package.

The successful candidate will be paid from £12.11 an hour with an attractive weekend working rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and service in accordance with local infection control policies and NHS Scotland's National Cleaning Services Specification.
  • Ensure that cleaning schedules are met and promote a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Provide domestic services to other sites as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve service goals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or relevant industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
