Position Overview:
As a key member of the Gatwick Airport team, the Supply Chain Coordinator will play a vital role in enhancing our Sustainability initiatives.

Compensation:
Competitive salary of approximately £65,000, accompanied by a Welcome Bonus, a £1,000 Flex Allowance, and potential bonuses of up to 15%, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Departmental Structure:
The Construction Department at Gatwick Airport consists of various program and project teams, supported by technical functions, responsible for executing the airport's Capital Investment Program (CIP) and strategic expansion over the next five years. This includes a range of projects aimed at delivering essential infrastructure across the campus.

Role Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Coordinator will engage in all phases of project management, extending beyond initial stages, and will oversee projects valued at approximately £50 million. Key responsibilities include:
1. **Schedule Management:** Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, ensuring clear milestones and tracking activities to support overall project timelines.
2. **Coordination:** Collaborate with the delivery team to align work sequences with the integrated project plan.
3. **Reporting:** Prepare comprehensive reports on schedule, staffing, and quantity progress for designated disciplines.
4. **Contract Management:** Evaluate contractor schedules against established baselines, identifying critical path activities and performance discrepancies.

Qualifications:
- A degree or postgraduate qualification in a construction or business-related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of experience in project planning, particularly on projects exceeding £10 million in value, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Primavera software (P6) and MS Excel is essential.
- Experience in planning infrastructure projects within operational environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with quantity take-offs, statistical analysis, and financial reporting is beneficial.
- Understanding of NEC contract types is a plus.
