Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to take on the role of Senior Regulatory Compliance Leader within the organization's thriving compliance division. This position involves overseeing global regulatory and legal compliance for the firm. You will manage a dedicated team, spearheading compliance initiatives to ensure that all operations adhere to the necessary regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the organization's policy framework.
  • Offer compliance guidance and support to guarantee adherence to regulatory and legal standards.
  • Conduct proactive compliance horizon scanning to anticipate new regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee regulatory monitoring and assurance activities, including Total Metering and Billing Systems (TMBS) reporting (knowledge of TMBS is advantageous but not mandatory).
  • Lead training initiatives and communications to foster a culture of compliance across global operations.
  • Support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) related to Compliance Principal Risk Categories.
  • Coordinate the creation of policies, procedures, and guidance to ensure clarity and compliance.
  • Generate regulatory and legal compliance reports for the Risk and Assurance Committee.
  • Manage the whistleblower facility and assist in breach investigations and reporting.
  • Supervise a team of two Compliance Coordinators.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar compliance role within sectors such as Telecommunications, Financial Services, or Utilities.
  • Experience with TMBS is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Relevant qualifications in Compliance (e.g., ICA certificates/diplomas).
  • Familiarity with ISO27001 (Information Security Management System) and Data Protection is advantageous.
  • Degree qualified or possess equivalent experience.
  • ISO27001 Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
