Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our team of professionals working with primary and secondary schools in Swindon. As a teaching assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with students of all ages and abilities, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
  • Provide support to students with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the classroom
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help children learn and grow
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of individual students
