Key Responsibilities:

In this position, you will engage in a variety of tasks, including:

  • Maintaining accurate inventory records, including purchasing, shipping, and other documentation using SAP AS400 WMS.
  • Compiling data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and financial reports.
  • Assessing stock levels and identifying needs for replenishment.
  • Investigating damages, inventory discrepancies, and shrinkage issues. Appropriate protective equipment will be provided for any necessary cold storage visits.
  • Verifying product identification, conducting regular cycle counts, and assisting with physical inventory checks.
  • Reviewing stock numbers, pallet IDs, and authorized substitutes to ensure the accuracy of shipping orders.
  • Identifying unused items and recommending the disposal of excess or damaged stock.
  • Adhering to all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Assisting with new goods in/out booking requests through electronic communication.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in stock control is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or SAP AS400 is advantageous, although a willingness to learn is essential.
  • Proficient in computer use, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite and email applications.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Capability to commute to the site and work during the day.
