Head of Legal | AI Fintech Start-Up | Central London

Are you a seasoned legal professional looking to join a dynamic FinTech start-up with a strong growth trajectory? We are seeking an experienced Head of Legal to lead our legal and compliance functions and play a key role in shaping the company's future.

Our organisation is a pioneering AI interface for clients within the financial services sector, including Investment Banks, PE Firms, and more. With plans to expand throughout the US and EMEA, we offer a unique niche that assists financial professionals save time and reduce manual workload typically associated with due diligence and research activities.

The team works collaboratively from our Central London office, and we are looking for a talented individual to join our ranks. As Head of Legal, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of the company, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

You will navigate the complexities of compliance, regulatory standards, and risk management, providing strategic legal guidance to support the company's rapid growth. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's legal framework, ensuring robust legal processes, and fostering a culture of compliance across the entire organisation.

Requirements:

  • 5-9 years of experience at a Tier 1 law firm + in-house experience
  • Start-Up/Scale-Up experience within the FS, AI/Tech sectors is preferred
  • Willing to work in a demanding, entrepreneurial environment with a positive working attitude
