Principal Data Engineer

Join our dynamic data team as a Principal Data Engineer and play a key role in shaping the data engineering roadmap for our rapidly scaling B2B SaaS company.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced data engineer with a strong background in real-time data engineering and cloud technologies to design and build high-quality data pipelines that power our cutting-edge genAI products.

As a Principal Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and building the data architecture
  • Designing, building, maintaining, and upgrading data pipelines and self-service tooling
  • Promoting data governance through documentation, observability, and controls

You will work closely with our dynamic data team, consisting of data engineers, data scientists, and ML and analytics engineers, to deliver business value through data-driven solutions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong background and expertise in real-time data engineering and cloud technologies
  • Experience with AWS, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Python, Kafka/Kinesis, and Airflow
  • Great Python skills
  • Previous experience with real-time data streaming platforms such as Kafka/Kinesis/Confluent
  • Experience handling and validating real-time data
