Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and committed midwife to join our community midwifery team at the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, safe care to women and their families, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
  • Work autonomously within Trust guidelines and sphere of professional practice, with reference to departmental manager as appropriate.
  • Participate in rotational midwifery experience, gaining skills and knowledge in various areas of midwifery practice.
  • Contribute to the development of students and maternity support workers, providing mentorship and professional support.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve high-quality care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Registered Midwife with current NMC Registration.
  • NIPE Qualification.
  • Experience in rotational midwifery, with a willingness to undertake further study and evidence of CPD.
Working Arrangements

This is a permanent contract, with an expectation of unsociable hours and on-call duties.
