About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Echocardiographer (Band 7) to join our team in Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our Cardiac Physiology Department, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality service, ensuring the highest standard of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Echocardiography in maintaining BSE standards and ensuring all staff continue with accreditation processes in line with a BSE accredited department.
  • Work effectively and efficiently as part of the Cardiac Physiology Department, providing a high-quality service and ensuring the highest standard of patient care.
  • Perform clinical duties and responsibilities of a highly Specialist Clinical Physiologist.
Essential Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced General Radiographer (Band 7) with:

  • At least six months recent NHS experience.
  • Hold a RCCP registration.
  • Must have Right to work in the UK.
  • BSc Clinical Physiology/Healthcare Science (cardiac science).
  • BSE Adult Accreditation.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience of advanced & complex investigations.
  • Leadership skills/qualification.
