About the Role

Rigel Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for promoting our innovative products in the field of hematology/oncology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Growth: Meet or exceed sales targets by building strong relationships with key thought leaders and prescribers in your assigned territory.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to maximize new patient starts and drive sales growth in your territory.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain productive relationships with all members of the patient care team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Product Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products, including their clinical benefits, access and reimbursement strategies, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, and market access, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and effective communication with customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, such as business, biology, or chemistry.
  • Experience: 5+ years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a focus on hematology/oncology.
  • Skills: Proven track record of delivering exceptional results, excellent account management skills, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Other: Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently.
