Senior Oil Demand Analyst / Head of Energy Demand

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oil Demand Analyst / Head of Energy Demand to join our global fundamentals team at Energy Aspects. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Oil Analyst to make a valuable contribution to our company's growth story.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our global team to ensure that our reports meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and depth of insight.
  • Develop and maintain our oil demand balancing models, including forecasting methodologies.
  • Manage a team of energy analysts and oversee the development of our medium-term energy demand forecasts.
  • Assist in formulating our view of the global liquids markets.
  • Present our views on oil markets to clients and prospects, and contribute to our written monthly reports.
  • Enable the broader team to undertake bespoke research for clients when required.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in analyzing oil balances, including refined products and NGLs.
  • Fundamental modeling experience, including building and maintaining complex refining models.
  • Knowledge of global oil products markets and refining processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in writing reports and conducting presentations.
  • Attention to detail is essential for this role, particularly in handling data and written English.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work effectively with others, including colleagues in different time zones, is critical.
