Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
  • Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enable development of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual.
  • Be proficient in the delivery of care to patients.
  • Ensure safe administration of drugs in accordance with NMC and CHS policies.
  • Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
  • Working as an effective team member and promoting team and interdisciplinary relationships.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

  • All Registered Nurse roles will be required to provide evidence of:
  • Statement of NMC Registration.
  • Degree /Diploma in Nursing.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment within the last 3 years.
