We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Nurse to join our team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patient care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care.
- Manage critical care therapies, including endotracheal tubes, tracheostomies, artificial ventilation, and invasive cardiac monitoring.
- Develop skills in analyzing and interpreting complex data derived from patient monitoring and plan appropriate care.
- Communicate with patients and significant others with empathy and reassurance regarding assessment, care, and treatment.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive nursing records using appropriate documentation.
- NMC registered with a minimum of 9 months acute experience within the NHS.
- Ability to recognize and handle stress.
- Teamwork and personal skills.
