We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Little Stars Day Nursery and Preschool in Harwell, Oxfordshire.

About the Role

As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children. You will ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and education
  • Develop and implement engaging learning programs that meet the individual needs of each child
  • Ensure the nursery environment is safe, healthy, and well-maintained
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursery policies and procedures

Requirements

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Room Leader with a Level 3 or above Early Years qualification. You will have a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements. You will be able to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
